This Year, Order Your Tree Online and Pick It Up at This ‘Pop-Up Farm’

With the Rockefeller Center tree officially on its way to the Big Apple, it’s time to order your Christmas tree online. Yep, online.

Brooklyn Pine, a new “tree pop-up market” (come to think of it, Christmas-tree markets are the original pop-ups) is now taking pre-orders for Douglas and Canaan firs. Come Nov. 15, you can pick up your tree at a lot in South Williamsburg where you’ll find “soft live music, hot cocoa, and a holiday decoration by a local artist,” according to the site.

Madewell Better Well Have Free Drinks At Its Williamsburg Opening

Just a few blocks away from the new J. Crew store in Williamsburg (and steps from the Urban Outfitters’ Space Ninety 8), the brand’s sister store Madewell will open its doors next week. And because this is Brooklyn and the women’s clothing label probz has lots of cash they’re willing to throw around to welcome themselves to the neighborhood, Madewell is throwing a party.

A brand new, shiny anomaly has opened its doors on Tompkins Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Sincerely, Tommy. And yes, the designer clothing and furniture boutique, which doubles as a coffee shop, is actually being quite sincere with a few price tags upwards of $1,000 and a slick minimal white, grey, and glass interior.
