For 15 years, Melissa Scott and her business partner Annie Ju have been personal shoppers for celebrities and politicians. Last week, the self-described “cool style facilitators” grand-opened their new East Village boutique for kids and families.

An.mé (pronounced “ahn-may”) stocks unisex clothing (think “I’m Rad” t-shirts and Le Top aviator caps) and new items that the two find at trade shows featuring international items. Inside, you can find Gumby statues, panda hats, stuffed animals, penguin outfits, and harmonicas, to name a few. Ju’s two boys and Scott’s one son dig the superhero figurines and wooden building blocks.

“Most boutique stores cater to one or another, but you don’t really find a store like this that caters to everyone in the family,” says Ju, who studied design at Parsons (Scott went to Pratt). The shop recently hosted a Halloween event for kids and will probably host a “moms night out” soon.

With Dinosaur Hill and Mr. Throwback just down the block, East 9th is officially the place to holiday shop for your nieces and nephews.
