Just a few blocks away from the new J. Crew store in Williamsburg (and steps from the Urban Outfitters’ Space Ninety 8), the brand’s sister store Madewell will open its doors next week. And because this is Brooklyn and the women’s clothing label probz has lots of cash they’re willing to throw around to welcome themselves to the neighborhood, Madewell is throwing a party.
We highly encourage you to make haste next Wednesday and get your grubby hands on some free “sips” and “treats.” If you do happen to get tricked into buying something, Madewell will gift you a free tote bag with the words “Bien Fait” inscribed. Thankfully only French speaking people will know it’s nothing but bald-faced advertising, but that’s fine because most French people are probably giving you a look of disapproval anyway.
Madewell Brooklyn officially opens on Wednesday, October 29 at 127 North 6th Street, and the fête will begin at 7 p.m. and run until 9 p.m.
