Get ready for even longer lines at Shake Shack — to mark 10 years in Madison Square Park, the burger joint is throwing itself a week-long birthday bash that’ll feature a music festival and limited-edition patties from celeb chefs like David Chang and April Bloomfield. This. is going. to be huge.
The music festival, on June 12, kicks off at 1 p.m. with a performance from Catey Shaw, the “Billie Holiday meets MIA” of the ukelele. She’ll be followed by The Tall Pines, Cheerleader, Ski Lodge, and Miniature Tigers. There’ll also be a “pay what you’d like” Chicago-style hot dog cart, ping-pong, and (while supplies last) an “epic Shack-inspired cake” created by Dominique Ansel (yes, he of the cronuts).
But, really, it’s the celeb burgers that are going to cause foodies to flock to the park, ramen-burger style. Just look at this insane lineup of chefs and the patties they’ve created. (We’ve helpfully inserted photos so you can decide which, if any of these, is worth getting in line for. Each of these will sell for $8.50 only on the day listed.)

Andrew Zimmern (Bizarre Foods) – AZ Cabrito Butter Burger
