Okay, we were just kidding about that new Garbage Pail Kids card being the height of Abbi Jacobson’s fame. As much as we love GPK, it doesn’t take some pun-happy Art Spiegelman wannabe to immortalize the Broad City co-creator– she’s actually a capable illustrator herself, and she has a nifty new book coming out. On Wednesday, Oct. 26, she and her Broad City co-star, Ilana Glazer, will talk about it at Space Ninety 8 in Williamsburg. Consider it an off-season reunion while you wait for Season 4 to drop.

Like a Game of Glazer Tag, All the Glazers Are Beaming Into Bell House

(Flyer courtesy of Shark Party Media)
As part of the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, happening in two weeks in Park Slope, comedian Eliot Glazer is taking his popular show, Haunting Renditions, to the Bell House. The Sept. 17 event is part comedy show/part karaoke show in which comedians take on the vapid, popular music hits of today with the help of a backing band and reimagine them in order to “find new, deeper meaning in otherwise lightweight compositions.”
Basically it’s like a more judgmental (and probably funnier) version of Carpool Karaoke. Joining Glazer on this installment of the show are comedians Ilana Glazer and Jon Glaser. Glazer, Glazer and Glaser will—oh jeeze. I am honestly not even sure which one the host is anymore. Wow, ok we’re gonna have to suss this whole thing out.
Abbi and Ilana Share Some Nuggets About Season 3 of Broad City

It’s been a very Abbi Jacobson couple of days: Saturday at Irving Plaza we saw her sit in with Paul Scheer and Jason Mantzoukas during a taping of their “How Did This Get Made” podcast (spoiler alert: they shredded Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hercules in the City), and this morning she and her Broad City co-creator Ilana Glazer kicked off Internet Week with a conversation with Marie Claire editor Anne Fulenwider.
Abbi and Ilana of Broad City Will Kick Off 420-Friendly Internet Week
With Internet Week booting up Monday, organizers of the annual tech-stravaganza have just sent word that none other than Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer will do the opening keynote conversation. The Broad City co-creators are slated to chat with Marie Claire editor-in-chief Anne Fulenwide at the fest’s headquarters, the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea. Let’s hope they spill some details on their new film deal with Paul Feig.

Exclusive First Look: Amy Sedaris Guest-Stars on Broad City Next Week
For this Wednesday night’s episode of Broad City, the script called for a belligerent realtor with a neck brace and a penchant for creepy crafts. Comedy Central did fans old and young a favor by bringing back Amy Sedaris, who 15 years ago starred in her own series on the network, Strangers with Candy.
Broad City Goes From Web Series to TV Show to ‘Unique Experience’
Only one episode of Comedy Central’s Broad City has aired so far (the second airs 10:30 p.m. tonight), but the ratings must have been stupendous — stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson are going on a 15-state tour.
