Output has one undeniable advantage over its Greenpoint clubbing counterpart, Good Room. It has a roof, which this year has been redesigned to resemble an “enchanted forest.” But, wait: Not to be outdone, Good Room has announced a series of parties over at Dobbin St, the neighboring events space that has been hosting man markets, movie screenings and the like.
Good Roof at Dobbin St, as the series will be called, kicks off May 29 with a DJ set of disco and house from LCD Soundsystem labelmates Holy Ghost! and will continue every other Sunday through September. The lineup includes The Juan Maclean and Jacques Renault (also members of the DFA fam), Studio 54 legend Nicky Siano, Canadian producer Project Pablo, Australian producer Tornado Wallace, and plenty more.
A la PS1 Warm Up, which recently announced its own lineup, there’ll be food in Dobbin St’s courtyard (from Roberta’s, who else?) in addition to a full bar on the roof.
