The Eddy, a new spot from former Jack’s Luxury Oyster Bar chef Brendan McHale, will open tomorrow in the former Toucan & The Lion space.
Chef McHale isn’t moving far from his old digs: Jack’s, which closed in late 2012, occupied 101 Second Avenue, near East Sixth Street. The Eddy is located on Sixth Street, close to First Avenue — on ever-changing Curry Row.
Check out our photos of the menu (apologies for the glare) and you’ll notice Italian influences and (true to the restaurant’s name and McHale’s experience) some seafood options like scallop crudo and oil-poached salmon.
