Hot on the heels of rooftop programming announcements from Output and Our Wicked Lady, East Williamsburg venue Elsewhere just dropped the lineup for its own rooftop, which will open for the first time on Memorial Day weekend. The club, which opened in November and may or may not have an orgasmic stage, is promising rooftop “happy hours, frozen drinks, local DJs, art programming, weekend food pop-ups, and much more.”

Its outdoor programming, announced today, will include ticketed performances by indie bands like Mr. Twin Sister; sets by electronic acts like Yuksek, Negative Gemini, Viceroy, Little Boots; established parties like The Rub, Papi Juice; and DJ sets from Bakermat and Viceroy. There will also be nights hosted by James Murphy’s DFA label and the popular Brooklyn Vegan music blog, plus a pride weekend celebration. In addition to all this, there’ll be film screenings, food, and art installations every Tuesday night, and free sunset happy hours every Wednesday and Thursday.

Johnson Avenue is poised to become a rooftop drinking destination. Elsewhere’s neighbor, the forthcoming outpost of wildly popular Lower East Side eatery Mission Chinese, is planning to offer rooftop dining.
