Is this boy from Queens the new King of All Media? Vice just renewed Action Bronson’s food-hunting show, Fuck, That’s Delicious, which spawned a book that’s out next month; plus, he’ll soon be the host of a daily late-night show and a dating game on Snapchat. Meanwhile, he hasn’t quit his day job; his new album, Blue Chips 7000, drops Aug. 26, and you can hear a fresh cut off of it, featuring fellow big boy Rick Ross, below.
If you slept on tickets to Bronson’s surprise closeout of Webster Hall, don’t have the loot for a Meadows festival pass, and weren’t cool enough to score an invite to his gig on the Vice HQ rooftop, don’t despair. Rough Trade just announced a special in-store performance and signing on Aug. 30. To get in on it, you’ll have to move fast and preorder the new album on Rough Trade’s website or at the Williamsburg store starting Aug. 25.
While you count the hours, be sure to check out the latest episode of Getting Doug With High, wherein Bronson busts out the dabs– another pet project— on Brett Gelman, star of the new dark comedy Lemon. By the end of the episode, dude can barely put a sentence together, much less host a dating show.
