cosplaycruise2016_4x6_backSure, it’s gonna be nearly 90 degrees out today, but Halloween is fast approaching and it’s time to start thinking about your costume. After all, the Anthony Weiner getup you were considering after seeing Weiner isn’t going to fly now that even the Post has declared “IT’S NOT A JOKE ANYMORE.” And don’t even think about being Trump– or one of his zombie followers, who consider brains a foodstuff rather than a presidential qualification. Safe to say Ricky’s is going to run out of orange facepaint pretty quickly this year.

Before you do settle on a costume you should really give it a test run, and what better way to do that than on the second annual Cospay Cruise, which departs out of the Circle Line Marina on Oct. 7. That’s a short walk from the Javits Center, so the Comic Con hordes can consider this an unofficial after party.

To get all the bronies to clop uptown and all the Trekkies to, well, make the trek, top cosplayers Kirsten Hughey, LeeAnna Vamp, Soni Aralynn, and Brit Bliss will be circulating during the boat’s three-hour tour, and Brooklyn’s own Robert Lux will be DJing. Here’s hoping he goes as Steve Aoki, complete with birthday cake and smoke-machine robot arms.

Come on, just look at President Obama’s banner photo and tell me you don’t want to be balling on a boat right now.

Cosplay Cruise, Oct. 7, Circle Line Pier 83 at 42nd Street and the West Side Highway; boarding begins at 8pm for 9pm departure; tickets $25.
