Police are looking for two men who robbed a 51-year-old in an East Village housing project this past Sunday. Here’s the NYPD’s description of the incident.

On Sunday, January 17, 2016 at approximately 1450 hours, the male individuals entered an apartment building on the FDR Drive and proceeded to the 51 year-old victim’s apartment and knocked on his door. When the victim answered, one of the individuals kicked the door open and began striking him with a closed fist and a firearm while demanding money. The second individual never entered the apartment and no proceeds were taken. The victim sustained lacerations to the head but refused medical attention at the scene.
