Fortunately, as the azure skies return — and not a moment too soon — there are not one, but two brand spanking new outdoor spaces for you to soak up that vitamin D, while sipping on a g and t.

Last week, The Living Room, which earlier this year hopped across the river to 134 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, opened up its “rooftop oasis.” Boasting a well-stocked bar and the freshest plastic grass money can buy, the new rooftop rendezvous also promises a summer line-up of DJs — and if that’s not your thing, a fun array of games involving rings and bean bags.
Closer to the ground, Houdini’s Kitchen Laboratory, the Roberta’s-esque pizza parlor near the Ridgewood-Bushwick border, recently revealed its outdoor beer garden deck. This tree-shaded wooden sanctuary offers ample space for large groups and couldn’t be a more perfect place to enjoy a pizza among friends. It opens 5pm to 11pm every day through summer.
