Minca Ramen Factory isn’t the only Manhattanite expanding into Williamsburg — the owners of Ardesia, the wine bar that opened in the sleek Archstone Clinton complex in Hell’s Kitchen in 2009, are now coming to a new building in Williamsburg.
According to a contractor who was readying the space last week, they’re opening another wine bar at 175 Kent, the rental building with a rooftop putting green. It’ll be on the corner of North 3rd, adjacent OddFellows.
A spokesperson for Ardesia said “we still don’t have a name or much detail,” so it’s uncertain how closely the new establishment will hue to Ardesia’s M.O.: a “mineral-driven” wine list featuring over 30 by the glass, plus a variety of cheeses, charcuterie, and small plates like homemade pretzels, which were among Timeout‘s 100 best dishes of 2010.
