When we told you to go see H. Jon Benjamin at last month’s installment of Late Night Basement at Pinebox Rock Shop, we had no idea this would happen or we would’ve gone our damn selves: the man with one of the most distinctive voices in comedy (you know him as Archer, Carl on Family Guy, Bob on Bob’s Burgers, etc.) went and played the role of HAL 9000, the painfully self-aware computer from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
