Spotted at the Strand earlier this evening! The old awning, which famously touted “18 miles of books,” is being replaced by this new one. “We’re putting on our best look for #bea2014,” the store commented, referring to the Book Expo America.
While they’re at it, maybe it’s time to replace those totes quoting John Waters (“If you go home with somebody and they don’t have books, don’t f**k ’em”) now that he’s admitted he would totally fuck ’em?
