San Loco isn’t the only new tenant coming to the once controversial Karl Fischer building at the corner of Grand and Driggs. On the southern side of the brick behemoth, at 229 Grand, Beyond Vape is “opening soon,” according to a banner.
Back in November, the West Coast e-cig and smoking accessories chain opened its first NYC store on St. Marks Place. Its Williamsburg arrival can’t be good news for the Grand Street bodega that recently got a bong-happy makeover. But whatever: this is clearly a case of the more, the merrier.
