Here’s an Early Look Inside Antler Beer & Wine Dispensary

It looks like Antler Beer & Wine Dispensary is coming along nicely. The wine bar bound for 123 Allen Street is owned by Scott Garry and James Hendrick, who also owns Gramercy boozeries Bull’s Head Tavern and Tap Room No. 307. According to The Lo-Down, Community Board 3 voted to support their wine and beer license last week after Hendrick promised “a nice warm space for people to come after work where there’s positive energy.”

We haven’t been able to get the owners of Antler on the proverbial horn, but we did manage to nab a shot of the charmingly rustic interior, which looks well on its way to completion.

Protesters Gather Outside of ‘Penis Mayor’ Anthony Weiner’s Apartment

An uninvited guest popped by Anthony Weiner’s Gramercy apartment building this morning, in the form of a giant inflatable rat. Union members have gathered in front of the mayoral hopeful‘s Park Avenue South address to protest a controversial cost-cutting measure in his education platform. And they aren’t exactly being subtle about it: “DON’T LET THE SEXTING PERV BE MAYOR,” reads one sign.
