The Woodman cometh.

Woody Allen continues to shoot his WASP2017 (that’s “Woody Allen Summer Project, 2017,” if you’ve been baffled by the filming notifications around town) and he’s coming to the East Village next Thursday. Signs announcing a 6am shoot on Oct. 12 are posted at First Avenue and East 6th Street. Tomorrow, filming will occur in midtown, according to signs posted around Seventh Avenue and West 32nd Street, across from Penn Station.

The film, billed as the 50th of his career and starring Elle Fanning, Selena Gomez, and Jude Law, has been shooting in Central Park, Greenwich Village, and at the Carlyle Hotel, where Woody is doing double duty on clarinet through Dec. 11. Not much is known about the plot except that Gomez and her co-star Timothée Chalamet share a kiss.

The director’s 49th film, Wonder Wheel, set in 1950s Coney Island, makes its premiere as the closer of the New York Film Festival on Oct. 14, and will be released Dec. 1.
