What? You thought the biggest news coming out of James Murphy’s world were those LCD Soundsystem shows launching East Williamsburg venue Brooklyn Steel? I mean, yeah, the band did debut three new songs last night, which was great for the people who managed to beat the bots and snag tickets (keeping an eye on the Bowery Presents Instagram page helps; last night, some last-minute tickets became available at Rough Trade). For those who didn’t get in on the instantly sold-out shows and don’t want to pay $210+ on Stubhub, there’s this tasty consolation prize: Murphy’s Williamsburg wine bar, The Four Horsemen, has launched a late-night yakitori menu.
Okay, so it’s not the same as watching LCD cover “Back in the New York Groove.” But take what you can get. Sasso chicken-heart skewers priced at $4 are nothing to balk (bawk?) at.
Here’s the menu, available Fridays and Saturdays from 11pm to 1am.
