Ready for that last season of Girls? That’s right, Lena Dunham hasn’t fled to Canada yet— in fact, it looks like filming for the new season of Girls is underway right here in Manhattan. A notice posted on 27th Street indicates the show will be shooting Wednesday near the corner of Madison Avenue. An odd location, to be sure– maybe Marnie and Desi are having their record release party at the Ace?

Closer to home, The Jim Gaffigan Show is currently filming right outside of our offices, off of Peter Cooper Park. The scene features Michael Ian Black pushing a stroller and an argument among gaggle of construction workers, including one played by comedian Tig Notaro. Kind of weird: as a faux hard-hat yelled “I’m calling my union rep!” for Gaffigan and the cameras, actual construction workers continued work on the Astor Place/Cooper Square reconstruction.

The new season of Gaffigan starts June 19 at 10pm.
