Robbery pattern #7Police are seeking the man shown here in connection with a string of robberies in the East and West Villages. The first of the five incidents happened at 3:45 a.m. on Dec. 13, when the suspect allegedly approached a 29-year-old and 30-year-old in the lobby of an apartment building near Waverly Place and Christopher Street, flashed a silver gun, and lifted $400 from one of the men. He’s also wanted for questioning in connection with the following incidents, as described by the NYPD. Most of them occurred as the victims entered their apartment buildings.

Incident #2 – At approximately 0315 hours on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in front of 181 Thompson Street in the confines of the 6th Precinct. Two male Blacks approached the 31-year-old male victim, brandished a firearm, and fled with the victim’s cell phone, watch, and $300.

Incident #3 – At approximately 2035 hours on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the confines of the 9th Precinct. A male Black followed the 27-year-old male victim into an elevator in an apartment building, simulated a firearm inside his jacket, and fled with $150.

Incident #4 – At approximately 1735 hours on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 381 East 10th Street in the confines of the 9th Precinct. A male Black followed the 28-year-old male victim into an apartment building, displayed a knife, and demanded his messenger bag. The victim refused and the person of interest fled on foot empty handed.

Incident #5 – At approximately 1640 hours on Thursday, January 21, 2016 in the confines of the 6th Precinct. A male Black followed the 24-year-old female victim into an elevator in an apartment building, simulated a firearm inside his jacket, and fled with the victim’s headphones and $50.

The suspect is thought to be about 40 years old, 5’4″ tall, and 160 pounds.
