Gunfire stopped an MTA bus in its tracks as it was driving through Bushwick this afternoon, and sent a passenger to the hospital.
Cops and paramedics were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m., and arrived to find the bus parked at 178 Wyckoff Avenue near the intersection of Greene Avenue.
According to a police spokesperson, an unknown person shot toward the bus, causing one of its windows to shatter. A female passenger was injured by the broken glass, though she was not hit by any bullets. The NYPD said the woman suffered lacerations and was sent to a local hospital in stable condition. The police are still looking for the suspect, but were not sharing any leads.
