While Bushwig brought some flair to Ridgewood this past weekend, Bushwick performance artist Matthew Silver and his “loopers,” last spotted in unicorn garb at Bushwick Open Studios, did their best to keep Manhattan weird on Saturday.
Our tipster, Joe Sabia, told us these nekkid folk were “running around laughing and giggling” in front of Rivington Design House, which was in on the happening. “All I heard from them was ‘NAKED PILATES!!’ People walking by, blithely not paying attention while on cell phones, shrieked in fear when they looked up to see a man’s swinging genitalia while he pranced around the sidewalk.”
At one point, a phone booth got involved (filthy indeed).

Was this an Andy Golub-esque commentary on Fashion Week? an effort to steal some press from the Times Square desnudas? On Instagram, Silver says only that the “Public Nude Looping,” which featured HiChristina and performer/journalist Cassidy Dawn Graves, “had to be done at least once.”
