All aboard the S.S. Boozy Brunch. After a winter-long hiatus, the bar-on-a-barge known to most as the Frying Pan welcomed back its devotees yesterday with beer, sangria, and a new spring menu.

Should you need reminding, Pier 66 Maritime, a couple blocks north of Chelsea Piers, is one of a few reasons to cross East 14th Street. With sunshine, breeze, and alcohol, it’s the place to be so long as you’re not prone to seasickness, can stand long waits in line, and don’t mind all the folks around you cracking the same joke.

At the moment, the floating party is still in soft opening mode. Daily hours and regular updates can be found on its Facebook page. Regular operating hours, however, should resume later this week.
