This heart-shaped “nicho” shows two skeletons getting married – the theme is “Til Death Do Us Part.”
A sacred heart frame of Frida Kahlo, heart-shaped bracelets and a small bowl filled with milagros – tiny miracles.
Another sacred heart, featuring la paloma del spirito santo (the dove of the Holy Spirit) and the thorns of Jesus.

And if you still aren’t feeling Valentine’s after all this, here’s something to love: La Sirena’s owner, Dina Leor, tells us that her colorful shop is no longer facing an uncertain future. A couple of years ago it seemed like a looming rent hike might push her out, but she says she’s renewing her lease for another five years.
