A simit, in case you’re wondering, is a “Turkish bagel,” a circular bread traditionally eaten in the Balkans and the Mediterranean. The menu also offers reasonably priced ($4-$10) egg sandwiches, soups, salads, panini, plus a new veggie burger. An egg sandwich and an eye-popping shot of Turkish coffee is $3.99.

Reggie Manderson, the general manager, says the first week of business has been going well, but he’s eager for students to return from Thanksgiving break.

And now you know what to do when you’re out of Tofurky leftovers.
