It’s 86 degrees out and there’s snow on Rivington Street, proving what we already know: Hollywood cares not for trifling realities such as seasons. This can only mean that Seth Rogen’s “UNTITLED XMAS PROJECT” has made its landing on the Lower East Side.

We’re no psychics, but we’re assuming the X-Men inspired font on notices posted around the neighborhood means the holiday flick will be another stoner-action film a la Pineapple Express.

Early this afternoon workers started distributing wheelbarrow loads of fake snow along the sidewalk on Rivington between Clinton and Ridge Streets. We wish we could say delighted kids were romping around in a state of confusion and panic, but New York City children are wise beyond their years. Several kids announced that a movie set had arrived and then X-Mas was ruined for everyone.
