Today we invite you to download a beefed-up version of the Bedford + Bowery mobile app we launched earlier in the summer.
Aside from looking purdier, the new app allows you to navigate more easily from story to story, watch videos, and read news as it breaks on our site. All without ungluing your smartphone or your tablet from your palm.
That’s all thanks to downtown-based developers DWNLD, who today launched their own app allowing publishers to easily create similar mobile platforms. Best part: you can customize your app with themes that have names like Lafayette and Roebling. (We’re not sure what our theme is, but let’s hope it isn’t some icky Upper East Side theme, because sorry dudes the Upper East Side is not cooler than Brooklyn now).
