Last month we shared word that Billykirk would be bringing its Amish-made leather goods to Orchard Street. Today, brothers Chris and Kirk Bray opened their first brick-and-mortar shop for business.
The 750-square-foot store stocks the designer’s carryalls, schoolboy satchels, and totes ($240-$396); duffle bags, backpacks, and rucksacks starting at $198; ladies clutches starting at $184; and belts from $95. All items can be customized in-house.
In addition to the Billykirk products there are ceramic planters, leather-and-teak iPhone covers, Faribault Woolen Mill blankets, and issues of Atlas magazine and Man of the World magazine.
Billykirk, 16 Orchard St., 646-684-4050; open Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
