Rendering: The Living
Come June 28 it’ll once again be time to cram into the G train (or the shuttle, rather) and line up in Long Island City for the ultimate schoolhouse party — the 17th annual Warm Up series at PS1.
This year’s lineup, just released, features a lot of new blood. Plus sets from Todd Edwards (a producer on Daft Punk’s last album), techno legend Robert Hood, Norwegian DJ/producer/musician Cashmere Cat (who sold out Music Hall of Williamsburg last year), the great Pantha du Prince, and a live set from industrial act Vatican Shadow of Hospital Productions, which closed its East Village store back in 2011 but soldiers on as a record label.
According to PS1’s release, M. Wells Dinette will serve cocktails and “grab-and-go summer fare,” and there’ll be rotating stage installations by CONFETTISYSTEM, Chen Chen and Kai Williams, Fort Makers, Fort Standard, Nightwood, and The Principals.
Below is the lineup for the parties, which go from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. (doors open at noon) every Saturday from June 28 to September 6. Tickets are $18 or $20 at the door.
