Usually when you’re complaining about gentrification it’s at some dive bar that’s going to be replaced by a molecular mixology lab, but Henry Street Settlement is inviting you to kvetch in more civil, brightly lit environs. The 120-year-old social services agency is promising dinner to anyone who shows up at a town hall meeting Sunday afternoon.

“The event, open to all, will be attended by elected officials, neighborhood leaders and community residents,” promises a Henry Street Settlement rep, inviting those “concerned about housing, jobs, education and/or gentrification on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.”

If that sounds like you, rsvp here. The town hall is at 301 Henry Street from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
