If you answered, “Nothing,” head on over to Rough Trade (which apparently has fixed its soundproofing issues) to check out local heroes Rathborne.
It’s their first NYC show in three months, so you know it’s going to be extra special. To find out just how extra special, we asked Luke Rathborne, Rathborne’s enigmatic frontman.
“Tonight will be special and amazing – like when Caesar became Little Caesar’s but was then murdered by Brutus!” said Luke.
We’re not quite sure what that means, but we can’t wait to find out.
Afterwards, Rathborne’s own Jimmy Giannopoulos (also of Lolawolf and Reputante) and Reputante’s frontman, James Levy, will be DJing over at Miller’s Tavern. At last, not having plans on a Friday night has paid off.
Rathborne plays Rough Trade at 64 N 9th St. at 9pm. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased here.
