Despite weekend flood warnings, plenty of secondhand shoppers waded to an idle stretch of Greenpoint for the grand re-opening of Beacon’s Closet.

The store closed its Williamsburg location of 12 years on March 2; construction was still in progress when the new store on Guernsey Street opened Saturday at 2 p.m.

While its Williamsburg predecessor was divided into different rooms, this 7,500 square-foot warehouse — across from Spritzenhaus and the incoming Brooklyn Athletic Club — resembles Costco for vintage clothes. Technically, this address toes the line between Greenpoint and Williamsburg, a stretch we’ve dubbed Berry Hill.
