With the Peter Stuyvesant Station post office closing today and moving over to a retail-only location next week, it seems like a good time to post this photo we took at San Francisco’s Beat Museum — of Allen Ginsberg’s old business card. We’re not sure who has that number now — it just rang and rang when we called it (which, come to think of it, is kind of eery).

Anyway, if you’re looking for a new place to ship your packages now that the widely reviled Stuyvesant Station P.O. is kaput and the Cooper Square P.O. is apparently on the decline, consider United Shipping & Packing. The East 10th Street shop has been around for 25 years and if the signage on its door is any indicator, it has the opposite of what fellow shredder Henry Rollins would’ve called a “low S.O.”
