Adam Green’s remake of Aladdin and the Bushwick remake of Wizard of Oz may or may not happen, but this is very real: the group of filmmakers that remade Footloose back in 2010 are back with their new project: Our RoboCop Remake.
It’s exactly what it sounds like: 50 auteurs of varying ability have pieced together what’s “not necessarily a shot-for-shot remake, but a scene-for-scene retelling” of the original RoboCop. As you can see in the trailer above, some of the scenes are rendered in 8-bit graphics, others are done as musicals, and still others are just, like, WTF.
