If you’re under 21 and bummed that you’ll no longer be able to buy ciggies in NYC (thanks, Mayor Mike!), here’s a little something to commemorate your glory days of lighting up.

Inspired by his own days of pubescent puffing, Erik Foss of Lit created these rings modeled after Bic lighter tops.

They went on sale today at Grey Area. The Brooklyn-based online shop (not to be confused with the East Village’s Grey Era) is all about trippy artist-design objects: witness Derek Brahny’s “Made in China” American flag pin and Oliver Clegg’s $25,000 foosball table in which the players are reproductions of the artist and his wife (N.B. the goalie is totally N.S.F.W.).

Foss’s brass “smiley rings” — which go for $130 for small and $140 for large — don’t actually spark, but hey, now that cigarette discounts are also illegal, you can’t afford to smoke anymore, anyway.
