Why expose yourself to the splendors of local art and nature separately when you can do both at the same time? On September 28 and 29, Loisaida United Neighborhood Gardens (LUNGS) is hosting its second annual Harvest Arts Festival.
The outdoor extravaganza brings music, dance and puppetry – and even a little environmental workshopping – to 24 community gardens on the Lower East Side, the East Village and Greenwich Village. It also doubles as your last chance to watch some garden-inspired theater.
