Last week we were psyched to discover that YouTube had teamed up with CBGB to import original elements of the club (the cash register, parts of the walls, etc.) into its newly opened YouTube Space in Chelsea.

We got wind of it after a mole crashed the launch party attended by Chuck Schumer and others, but details about the set were scarce — how long would it be up for? And would the general public get a chance to see it, or just the folks with 5,000+ YouTube subscribers who’ll be using it as a studio?

We now have some answers from team YouTube: not only is the punk dive’s original phone booth on display, but also parts of the original stage and bar. The set will be up until Dec. 19, which means YouTube creators will have a chance to bask in its musk during a happy hour on Nov. 20. Unlike the production facilities, the holiday happy hour will be open to users with under 5,000 subscribers — just make sure to rsvp here.

Gotta wonder what Chris Stein would make of all this.
