The space that held Strange Loop gallery will become a vintage clothing store next week, further solidifying easternmost Canal Street as the new Brooklyn.

Wednesday night, Georgia Fenwick will open Georgia on lower Orchard Street, a stone’s throw from Lost Weekend, Project No. 8, and Coming Soon. “I’ve always been so interested in this area because it still has the authenticity that I feel like so much of New York has lost in the 11 years that I’ve been living here,” said the Londoner turned downtown New Yorker, who’ll soon live a couple of blocks from the store.
