Premiere: The Surreal Video For ‘Dreams Come False’ By A Man of Ideas

The music video for “Dreams Come False,” by A Man of Ideas, follows the journey of a young woman as she falls in love with a shadow. Michael Leviton co-wrote the script alongside directing duo Nat Livingston Johnson and Gregory Mitnick (also known as Peking). “We took making a music video as a rare opportunity to write a silent movie,” Leviton told Bedford + Bowery.

James Levy of Reputante on Signing With Julian Casablancas and Playing With Zoë Kravitz

“The Cult Records thing is my fourth record deal, but it’s the coolest one for me,” James Levy told B+B on his band Reputante signing to the Julian Casablancas-owned label. “The label is an interesting community and I wanted to be a part of Julian’s vision. Everybody on it is part of the family to some degree. I was tired of signing record deals and not being excited about it.”

Shortly after touring the Nigel Godrich-produced album A Different Ship, Here We Go Magic front man Luke Temple spent the winter working on his forthcoming solo record, Good Mood Fool. The album’s first single, “Katie,” is being released today (we’ve got your first listen below) and combines Temple’s classic falsetto vocals with R&B-inspired dance beats.
