Daniel Peddle
When his parents stumbled on an abandoned trailer park near his childhood home in North Carolina, Daniel Peddle knew it would be the setting of his next film. “I had this immediate sensation of bells going off in my head,” he said of his first visit to Sunset Edge. He brought his nephew Jacob and his two best friends out there and ended up casting them as stars of the film of the same name.
“There’s something poignant about these disaffected teenagers texting and skateboarding around this place as if it’s almost a set or something,” Peddle observed.
