Today, for three hours only, 2 Chainz will have a pop-up shop in Soho to promote his new album and tour. The pop-up – named after his new album and tour Pretty Girls Like Trap Music – will offer new merch designed in collaboration with Trouble Andrew, a preview of the new album, and even a chance to see Chainz himself.
Some of the items are black with some spray-painted and drawn-on illustrations, but there’s no information on Chainz’s site, so there may be more to choose from than what’s been released so far. Everything is first come. first served– so go ahead and take that late extended lunch break and head down to 54 Greene Street for a shot at getting in and picking up a few items.

Chainz has been pretty busy promoting his tour and first solo studio album in four years, which he called the “most impactful project of the year.” Last month he visited with the ladies of The View and just last night he joined Rae Sremmurd on stage during The Weeknd’s show at Barclays Center.
If you can’t make it down to Soho at 3 p.m., the merch will be available online starting tomorrow and you’ll be able to catch him live at Terminal 5 in September.
Update:
Middle-aged white men with cornrows and grills and hypebeasts alike turned out for Chainz’s pop-up shop this afternoon. About 100 fans waited patiently behind metal barriers to be let into the shop. One woman even waited despite saying she had to go pick up her kids. It only took about 40 minutes for all fans to be let inside where they shopped the exclusive merch until Chainz arrived at 4:45 to sign his merch, take photos and shout “truuuu” a few times. His listening party was shut down by the fire marshals later in the evening so you have one more chance to catch him Thursday night. He’ll be holding another pop-up listening party at 244 W. 14th Street at 7 p.m..
