The East Village is getting another trendy dessert spot this weekend. This time it’s in the form of egg waffles topped with ice cream and a ton of fixings. Looks like Wowfulls might have some competition.
Eggloo is opening a new shop for the popular Hong Kong dessert on Avenue A right across from Tompkins Square Park– its second location in the city after a Chinatown one opened last February.
Those who make it out to the grand opening on Saturday and Sunday will be treated to a buy-one-get-one-free deal on all waffle cones and their new make-your-own ice cream sandwiches. As an added bonus, Eggloo will be debuting some new cookie, soft serve and drizzle flavors.
The new cookies are chocolate chip, chocolate black sesame, ube coconut and matcha white chocolate.
