Well, Brooklyn’s newest luxury high rise isn’t mincing words – its motto, “the first to rise above the rest,” pretty much sums up the attitude of developers MNS and its latest physical manifestation. Standing 13 stories tall at the corner of Driggs in Williamsburg, 190 South 1st Street started contracting out its 32 luxury units about a month and a half ago and is currently 20-percent in contract, according to an MNS spokesperson. It’s expected to be move-in ready by late fall, early winter 2016.

MNS is also the sales and marketing firm for The Edge, another residential high-rise in Williamsburg. According to the website all its apartments are sold out, including the penthouse that reportedly went for $1,135 per square foot. But don’t worry; there are plenty of opportunities to drop some serious dough in this rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. As the website for 190 South 1st Street drolly notes, “with a style, edge, and energy only found in South Williamsburg, more people than ever hope to call this exciting neighborhood home.”

Available units at 190 South 1st Street include a 400-square-foot “alcove studio” for $575,000 and a 2-bedroom for a cool $1.525 mil. The website details amenities such as private, landscaped terraces, a garden lounge with “lushly planted” seating and picnic areas, a “state-of-the-art gym with equipment for every level of fitness,” and bicycle storage. Each residence features hardwood flooring, central air and heating, in-residence washer-dryers and floor-to-ceiling windows.

But developers Adam America and Naveh Shuster’s crowning achievement are the much-heralded 365-degree views. “Perched higher than any other building in its vicinity,” says the website, “190 South 1st offers its residents unparalleled views from nearly every vantage point.”

Until the next one goes up, anyway.

Correction: This article has been changed to reflect that MSN is the sales and marketing firm for 190 South 1st Street. The developers are Adam America and Naveh Shuster.
