It’s been a long time coming for the three owners of Our Wicked Lady, Bushwick’s newest art and music studio space-cum-bar, but tonight they can finally kick back and celebrate the grand opening. Leading up to this sure-to-be-saucy affair is something you should probably get your butt to if you count yourself a Mac Demarco fan. See, there’s something called an Ass Pass…

Starting this afternoon at 1 pm till 5 pm Mac Demarco, the bliss rock singer-songwriter, will be firing up the grill over at Our Wicked Lady to play wiener rotator. If you’re cool enough to bring a food bank donation to the block party celebration– be kind and bring something better than, like, a bag of Country Time you found on the street or cream of mushroom soup (sure, they make a great combo but eaten on their own, such things are nearly toxic)– Mac himself will slap one of those puppies in a bun and gift it to you on the spot for your munching pleasure.

According to an email we received from Our Wicked Lady, attendees also have the opportunity to throw down on an Ass Pass which (note the flyer) gets you not only a T-shirt and a “surprise merch item” but admission to all four Mac Demarco shows happening in New York City this summer. The gap-toothed dreamboat is embarking on a world tour in about a week, but he’s looping back around to the city in August to play the Bowery Ballroom (8/17), Webster Hall (8/18), Music Hall of Williamsburg (8/19), and Warsaw (8/20). The limited passes are going for $175.

Co-owner Wayne Gordon said Mac will be doing a “promo spot.” And according to Mac’s Instagram he’ll be using his car stereo to blast new tracks– all recorded in Far Rockaway, where he now lives after a stint in Bed-Stuy (or was it Bushwick?). Though OWL reps say a boom box might be involved instead. Guess you’ll just have to get over there and see. Mac’s set to release the album, Another One, on August 7.

Stick around for the grand opening happening immediately after the show and going till late.
