A Bushwick man, 36, was shot and killed in his Chauncey Street apartment around 4 a.m. yesterday when four masked men broke in and demanded money. No arrests have been made. [NY Daily News]

Details have emerged about the death of Ziggy Truszkowski, the 37-year-old Greenpointer who was stabbed outside his Dupont Street apartment Monday night. According to reports, Truszkowski was trying to defend his girlfriend’s teen daughter from a drunken neighbor who was accosting her. In the ensuing scuffle, one of the neighbor’s friends drew a knife. [NY Post]
