Bushwick’s forthcoming beer garden, The Well, still isn’t ready for nightly revelry (sometime in July, rumor has it) but thanks to the Juicy Art Festival, you can go hang out there and drink tonight and all day tomorrow. If you enjoyed all the live painting at Bushwick Open Studios last weekend, you’ll definitely want to head to The Well’s back courtyard to see the likes of Magda Love, Iena Cruz, Son and Werc fill up the enormous walls.

For that matter, you should explore the whole area around Exit Room gallery, which curated the festival. Amazing new work has been going up all week in the neighborhood–by Sonni, Never Satisfied, Neop, Ever Siempre, and Dasic, to name a few — commissioned specifically for the Juicy Art Festival, and joining a ton of other, only slightly older murals that make this spot one of the city’s premiere outdoor galleries.

The Juicy Art Festival also has a full slate of musicians playing both days (Unstoppable Death Machines close things out tonight), as well as some decent merch on sale and, of course, plenty of beer. And the weather is supposed to be just right for day drinking.

The Juicy Art Festival runs on June 6 and 7 between 2pm and 10pm. Exit Room and The Well are at 270 Meserole Street, between Bushwick Avenue and Waterbury Street. Tickets here.
