Talk about an impressive body of work.

Emma Hack, who painted singers Goyte and Kimbra for their “Somebody That I Used to Know” video, spent eight hours at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery today painting a naked woman in her signature blend-into-the-backdrop style. (See the not-entirely-safe-for-work transformation below.)

The newly camouflaged model will be at the Soho gallery from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight as part of the fete for “Emma Hack: Undercover,”  the Australian artist’s first solo American exhibition. Tomorrow, a photograph will replace the live installation, and a total of seven of Hack’s pictures will be on display through March 12.
