A man was shot outside of the Borinquen Plaza Houses in Bushwick today.
We don’t yet have a description of the victim, but an officer at the crime scene shortly after 5 p.m. thought he was likely to survive. Cops on the scene were overheard saying the man, found on the ground near McKibbin Street, had been shot once in the arm and twice in the leg. A police spokesperson said it was too early to confirm any details.
The incident occurred less than a block from Humboldt Street YMCA.
