After months of breathless anticipation, The Standard East Village’s ground-floor patio is finally open. Sorta.
The patio opened this Saturday, although a hotel rep tells us that the decor and foliage are still a work in progress. When we checked in, the space was looking pleasantly lush and understated, as opposed to the yellow Lego aesthetic of its sister location.
B+B snapped some pics of the new space, which is sure to become a favorite spot for those who love the sound of traffic and can’t afford to hang at Standard High Line.
Last we heard, John Fraser‘s indoor-outdoor restaurant was due to open in the fall.Â
